Time stays long enough
Just in time to get the time
A couple of months ago, I discovered this beautiful Baume et Mercier watch during a private presentation in Rue de la Paix here in Paris. For me, a watch creates the whole idea of taking a new step in your life, or the thought of wanting to take it.
Carrying a watch some decades ago was an essential sign of the lifestyle a person entered in, and it gave status and even importance for what the person represented. Watches as timeless pieces are a tradition I have always loved, and the reason I now take this one as an early Christmas present. Excitingly my first.
I am enamored by the serious and beautiful craftsmanship of Baume et Mercier, that in the end really becomes an enjoyable experience.
