Monarch Butterflies

For quite some years I’d known about the Sanctuary of the Monarch butterflies in Michoacan, Mexico. They migrate every year from the Rocky Mountains in Canada to a warmer weather (hence the beautiful and warm weather in Mexico!). I’m currently here and can’t believe that this was one of the most amazing journeys and sceneries I’ve been too. From hoping on a horse for a couple of hours in the middle of the pine oak forest to arrive to the sanctuary between the cliffs, and without talking because they would scare and go away, the only sound I could hear was the beating of wings that they made. The trees were totally full with them and the splash of colors was unbelievable. Hope I can transmit some of this marvelous experience through these photos.
It was so nice spending time here before heading back to the freezing Europe! Time to start packing again.

I'm not keen on butterflies, they freak me out, but I just love to have the experience, it looks so beautiful and it might help me overcome my butterfly phobia!

You know I grew up in Mexico City (live in London now) and my parents used to take me here once a year to see the butterflies- so many incredible memories!

Woow this is amazing that you've experienced something like this!
When I saw at the very first time those monarch butterflies in some science magazine I was like is this some photo manipulation or what because it's impossible that there's millions of billions (or something..) butterflies in the same place at the same time! Now when I've seen quite many times photos of that incredible thing all I think is that I wanna go there and see this with my very own eyes and take thousands of photos and videos! I hope that I'll have that opportunity sometimes in my life:D

“Nearly all of whatever you articulate is astonishingly precise and that makes me ponder the reason why I had not looked at this with this light previously. This particular article truly did turn the light on for me personally as far as this particular subject matter goes. But there is one particular position I am not really too cozy with and whilst I attempt to reconcile that with the actual main idea of the issue, allow me see what all the rest of the visitors have to say.Very well done.”

“I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is required to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web smart so I’m not 100 certain. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers”
