Some time ago I twitted about something I had found, by far my biggest vintage treasure.
For those times, I decided to hold a little time, so I would use it in a very special or different ocassion.
I am definitely talking about this Yves Saint Laurent Black cape. I often wonder what’s better,
to use something you like many many times, or to use it few times, but in a wonderful way. What would you do?
One fact you may don’t know is that Yves Saint Laurent is my
absolutely favorite designer of the 3 decades he worked. It’s purely feminine inspiration, I really think of him
like a man who embraced the women for what they are and for the beautiful way they can look. Isn’t this the real
art of fashion?
Truth is, I am and will be always inspired by designers and by the way the let us play and enjoy the fashion world.
I paired my vintage YSL with these new Stefano Pilati YSL. For me, this had to be an all Yves Saint Laurent dress code.
Magnifique!
Yves Saint Laurent: This one is for you.
Wearing: YSL 70’s cape, YSL mohawk shoes, vintage red purse.

Beautiful ensemble! I think whenever choosing to wear a specific item it's best to wear it well than choosing just to simply wear it. There are things I've purchased that sit in my closet for months but when I find the perfect items to pair the clothing with the outfit is that much better and I feel like I achieved the look I was going for. You look gorgeous from head to toe!

This is by far my favorite of all your outfit posts! I think I'm alone in thinking this, but I find it better to save my extra-special pieces for extra-special occasions – it makes my love for the piece grow so much more over time, and it makes the occasions I wear the pieces on that much more special. And it will be a treasure that way every time you wear it! My most special piece is a Rodarte cardigan, and I have to limit its wear, because it comes apart a little each time it's worn. It's sad to know it has a short lifespan, but I treasure those few times I get to wear it. Best wishes and much love! xx

Not use it a few times! Oh gosh, if I would own this I would seriously go live in it for a couple of weeks (L) What a gorgoeus and fabulous cape, you look amazing!

    That cape is exquisite!!
As to whether I would be a wear it often vs wear it only for special occasions, it depends on the piece: the formality of it, the color, the fragility, etc… there are designer things I wear as often as I can, others I am more precious and protective of.

    Tech taking over Our Lives

As service takes over more of people’s daily lives, It’s also absorbing ever bigger chunks of their retirement accounts.

Surging prices for technology stocks all over the world mean the industry is making up a larger proportion of global markets. in the united states, apple mackintosh, Google’s parent company and other tech companies account for nearly 24 percent of the standard Poor’s 500 index. a decade ago, they provided up less than 17 percent of S 500 index funds. The makeover is many more dramatic overseas, Where ascendant brands like China’s Tencent and Alibaba have quickly stormed into the ranks of the world’s largest.

therefore, paying for many stock funds has increasingly become a bet on technology companies. that can be reassuring for investors given how tech companies have been able to deliver big profit growth for years, even though global economic growth was only middling. But also, it is a concern for skeptics who see tech stocks as overly pricey and primed for a pullback. The worries came into starker relief lately weeks, After tech stocks tumbled more than all of those other market.

To see how the tech takeover is beginning to change investing, Consider mutual funds and exchange traded funds that focus on stocks from emerging markets. virtual funds offer access to growth in China and other developing economies.

a decade ago, These funds were covered with hulking telecoms, Energy companies and the commodity producers that feasted on fast growth in design and factory activity. They comprised China Mobile, The Brazilian oil giant Petrobras and Russia’s Gazprom propane company.

at the end of 2007, innovation companies made up less than 11 percent of Vanguard’s Emerging Markets Stock Index fund. But in the ending years, Tech companies like Tencent and Alibaba grew to serve hundreds of millions of users buying things with their mobile phones, Chatting online and listening to music.

Now the Vanguard provide for, Which is the largest emerging market stock fund by assets, Has almost double the amount of of its portfolio apportioned to technology stocks. Its biggest single presenting is Tencent, Which is behind basic WeChat messaging app and other products.

“It’s a sign of purchasing, agreed Patricia Ribeiro, Senior collection manager at the American Century Emerging Markets fund and the American Century Emerging Markets Small Cap fund. “In the coming through space, It’s a story about the,

The shift toward technology stocks and away from old economy companies is because of the rise of emerging markets’ middle classes, Which are increasingly going online and also using the world’s voracious demand for technology, She celebrity fad.

Ribeiro has 33 percent of her Emerging Markets fund purchased technology stocks, above any other sector. Some of her recent purchases include Momo, A chinese language courses dating app, And AAC solution, A Chinese issuer for Apple. a decade ago, The fund invested extra money in financials, Raw material production and areas of the market. The portion about tech was just 12 percent. The fund has ranked in the top 8 percent of its category for returns during five years, based on Morningstar.

in the world, Tech stocks in the S 500 doubled the gain of the index the particular year’s first 11 months. A slump in the sector in recent weeks reminded investors that tech stocks are over the years prone to price swings and expensive of hot vietnamese women late, Based on several measures valuable.

Analysts attribute the drop in tech stocks nearly 4 percent in a nothing but a week to investors looking for reasons to sell and take profits. Washington’s push to renovate the tax system served as a trigger. Tech stocks stand to gain less from lower tax rates than other industrial sectors, So some investors moved money out of tech and into those sectors supposed to be tax overhaul winners, Such as financial companies and vendors.

But technology companies are amid reshaping several industries, From shopping to media, And advocates see even more growth ahead. Ken Allen, portfolio manager at the T. Rowe Price Science equipment fund, reffers to as it “Being on the proper side of change, perfectly as, The pace of adoption is quickly moving. It took microsoft’s Windows nearly 26 years to get to 1 billion users. For Google’s Android computer system, It took not six years.

Many mutual fund skippers seem to agree. After seeking 495 mutual funds that invest $1.9 trillion, Strategists at Goldman Sachs found that actively managed funds generally have even more purchased the technology sector than index funds do.

The margin has been downsizing a bit recently, But the preference nevertheless remains.

A big difference between tech stocks of today and the last time the industry was such a dominant force in the market during the late 1990s is how much profit they’re making.

Tech companies are not only being profitable, They’re delivering what are the strongest gains as customers continue to snap up iPhones and click on ads in Facebook. Tech stocks in the S 500 reported 21 percent increase in earnings per share last quarter, Triple the rate of the all around index.

That’s far from 2000, When tech stocks made up nearly 35 percent of the S 500 at the height of the dot com bubble and investors were interested in capturing “eyes” And web traffic than in something as mundane as sales or even earnings.
