About one month ago I was contacted by JOYCE boutique, the far-famed major luxury department stores in all China, and was invited to be the face for their advertising campaign, which was also a huge and special collaboration, as they teamed up with Romeo Gigli to create a unique collection and bring back the tradition of this great designer- JOYCE by Romeo Gigli – . Along with me, spectalurar figures like supermodel Ji Li Li , Charley Casely Hayford and Matthew Avedon took part in it.
As you may have seen, last month I finally travelled to Beijing to be able to be shot by Chen Man, who is photographer for countless magazine covers like I-D, L’Officiel, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle. Needless to say, spending time together and working with this amazing team was one unbelievable experience.
I’m still so honored to be chosen by JOYCE for my first big international advertising campaign. I’m excited to be on billboards, buses and stores everywhere in such big cities like Shanghai, Hong Kong and Beijing – and soon in Venice, Italy!-.

A Legend Returns: JOYCE collaborates with fashion designer Romeo Gigli on an worldwide exclusive fashion collection — JOYCE by Romeo Gigli
JOYCE is making international headlines with the launch of its groundbreaking fashion collaboration ,which JOYCE team up with legendary designer, Romeo Gigli to design the exclusive “JOYCE by Romeo Gigli” collection .The collection will launch for the autumn/winter season and is set to be one of the most exciting fashion projects of the year. The collection will debut globally online on JOYCE.com for pre-order from 13th – 23rd July before launching in JOYCE stores. Romeo Gigli will also make several public appearances to meet with VIPs and media, as well as fashion students at various universities in Hong Kong and Beijing. Celebrations will culminate with a landmark event in Venice, Italy where JOYCE will unveil a new luxury pop-up store on 28th August during the Venice Film Festival 2012.
To coincide with the launch, JOYCE will launch an exclusive advertising campaign featuring stunning images shot by Chinese renowned photographer, Chen Man. The campaign will feature an international cast of models hailing from different backgrounds. These four faces embody the Gigli style for the new generation and include: Matthew Avedon, grandson of legendary photographer Richard Avedon and past Gigli collaborator; London “it” boy and style icon Charlie Casely Hayford; renowned Paris-based mexican blogger Denni Elias; and Beijing supermodel Ji Li Li, who is set to become the new face of China.
