days in NYC
A glimpse of the what I’ve been up to for the last 2 weeks in New York City. Discovering new cafés and walking around its most hidden or beautiful landmarks, I am beginning this year in search of the new and (yes, New Years resolutions), to keep changing so that I don’t find myself into the same routine.
What are your most deep thoughts and resolutions now that the year is beginning?
Above in the picture I am at Birch coffee, that in a library setting makes it more easy to concentrate and work in long time intervals.
Taking a picture of me taking a picture, with the famous Washington Square Park Christmas tree, before they turn their lights off until next December.
The setting of the Bow Bridge and a big frozen layer of water. A captivating scenery that takes you back to the movies of NYC in winter.
Just before the sunset when walking in Dumbo, Brookly, it seemed worth it to take another picture with this Maje silver jacket. The photo seems both like I am going back into a spaceship, a caption that says “E.T. calling home”.
These Prada boots are my absolute statement now, and if you see me walking around Manhattan, there’s no doubt I’ll pass by in a rapid pace wearing them.
The view of the Manhattan skyline at 5pm
I got all warm with 5 layers inside my Moncler jacket, and 2 layers of tights under my American Apparel pants. Also wearing the Maison Martin Margiela boots and my new and favorite Gucci bag. As long as it doesn’t get dark (it really makes you freeze), the walks around Central Park are enjoyable to avoid the constant noise around the city.
During New Year’s, after having delicious italian for dinner, we headed to Pier94 so that we could shout the countdown of the New Year with Disclosure. Of course it was memorable to dance and sing along during the new year saying goodbye to “Latch”, which probably was the most famous song of 2014.
This new wool sweater is hand made by mexican artisans in a very small town called Gualupita. They have been doing the same designs for decades and I love that is just as good as a Ralph Lauren one, and keeps you totally warm.
Wearing it with a Jil Sander long sleeve top, Balenciaga shorts, Wolford tights and Azzedine Alaïa sandals around Greenwich Village.
Poetic NYC sky at Bowery before getting an italian affogato ( ice cream over an espresso) and a salted caramel cake and ice cream with small pretzels (coming in the next photos)
work by Joe Baer at the MoMA
More and more city lights
Another of my new favorite spots in Chelsea, Harbs, was recently opened and its a japanese favorite (the only other Harbs is located in Tokyo)
I have tried the most delicious baked cheesecake in here!
Going all simple and vampy to have brunch, with focus on my new Stella McCartney clutch.
Wearing also Thierry Lasry sunglasses, a Topshop Boutique coat and Jeans, and the Prada boots
What else but a delicious dinner with my friends at Shake Shack. The burger literally melts down in your mouth!
Outside Billy’s bakery. Wearing a Chanel vintage blazer, a Uniqlo turtleneck, American Apparel shorts, Wolford tights and Adidas by Stan Smith sneakers
The Stella McCartney bag and ice cream I had told you about.
And me, smiling because we were finally arriving at a warm and cozy restaurant when it started to snow.
Wearing an Agnona cashmere coat, an Acne dress inside, and American Apparel red tights with the Margiela red boots
Before being back at Chicmuse and before everything starts in a fast track, I wanted to share these (insta)moments with you.
See you tomorrow!
